GreenLite Solutions began as a simple experiment in a university lab, driven by a passion for sustainability and innovation. While studying Applied Chemistry, our founder and team explored ways to repurpose agricultural waste into valuable materials. This led to the creation of PHP composites, a durable wood alternative made from peanut husks, offering a sustainable solution for furniture and construction.

However, it was during the NYSC service year in Cross River State that the vision truly expanded. Surrounded by streets littered with discarded plastic water sachets, our founder saw an even greater challenge one that affected both the environment and low-income students. Many children couldn’t afford school bags, and plastic waste was everywhere. That’s when the idea was born: transform plastic sachets into durable, eco-friendly school bags.

What started as an experiment turned into a mission. We began designing and producing affordable, recycled school bags and shopping bags, offering students a practical solution while cleaning up the environment. Today, GreenLite Solutions continues to innovate, merging sustainability with social impact, ensuring that waste is not just discarded but transformed into something meaningful.
